Juneteenth Reparations 2025 — Black in the City: Part 2
The 2025 edition of the same Juneteenth Reparations series documented in 2024, advertised as Black in the City and Reparations Part 2: Bigger and Blacker. The June 19 Fort Greene Park cookout also formed the Brooklyn stop of the United Daze of America 2025 tour.
The point of view
Why this had to exist.
The Juneteenth Reparations series continued from the 2024 Black in the City NYC cookout into its 2025 edition. Original 2025 campaign artwork explicitly identifies Reparations Part 2: Bigger and Blacker; Black in the City is the event name, not a different series. This Brooklyn edition also appeared on the United Daze of America tour itinerary.

Corporate reports count heads. We track what moved, who carried it and whether the idea belonged.
The numbers
POSH event dashboard supplied by the organizer: 74,279 event-page visits; 11,242 tickets sold/issued (POSH label: Tickets Sold); $13,984 platform-reported revenue; 1,020 tickets scanned. The scan-progress widget separately shows a denominator of 11,225 tickets rather than 11,242, so those counts should not be treated as identical. Scans are check-ins recorded in POSH, not an independently verified total attendance count. These figures describe this Brooklyn event only, not the entire United Daze tour.
Cultural footprint
The original flyer identifies a Juneteenth cookout at Fort Greene Park on June 19 from 3–8 p.m., with DJ KDimes and food, music and community. The United Daze tour artwork includes Black in the City as the June 19 Brooklyn activation.
Brand alignment
The 2025 artwork identifies the Juneteenth Reparations series as Part 2, continuing the 2024 Black in the City cookout under the same series identity. College Daze and After Daze were credited on the event artwork, and the United Daze of America campaign listed it as the Brooklyn stop.
Creative crowd engagement
POSH recorded 11,242 tickets sold/issued and 1,020 ticket scans. The dashboard's scans should not be described as total attendance: they capture only check-ins registered through POSH.
Partnership evaluation
The event artwork credits College Daze, After Daze, Rebel Events and Ghetto Scholars. The flyer says donations were accepted for Lantern Network; amounts donated or beneficiary receipt have not been verified.
Tastemaker curation
DJ KDimes appeared on the cookout artwork, which also featured custom illustrated park and cookout scenes.
Digital echo
The organizer-supplied POSH overview reports 74,279 event-page visits. The dashboard does not identify unique visitors, traffic sources or causality.
Documentation
The receipts should feel like the room.
